We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to own the service layer of a multi-tenant GPU cloud platform - the API gateway, asynchronous workers, domain services, and the identity and authorization model that keeps tenants strictly separated. The codebase is polyglot by design: NestJS on Node for the gateway and worker tier, Go for contract-first services and Kubernetes API interactions, with protobuf and versioned message envelopes as the contracts between them. This role requires depth in TypeScript or Go and working competence in the other, plus production experience with multi-tenant system design, gRPC, message brokers, and Kubernetes.

What you'll do

Build and maintain the API gateway - routing, tenant guards, OIDC token re-validation, audit interceptors, and real-time delivery over WebSocket or SSE

What we're looking for

4+ years building backend services in production with TypeScript/Node or Go as a primary language and working experience in the other
gRPC or contract-first API design experience including at least one deliberate backward-compatible schema evolution
Production experience with a message broker as a true service boundary - durable queues, dead-letter
handling, idempotent consumers
Multi-tenant system design with enforced isolation where tenant separation was a security requirement, not a convention
Working knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis with a considered view of which belongs where
OIDC-based authentication and authorization implemented at the service layer, not delegated entirely to a gateway
